Gainsborough School and Skills Hub confirmed.
Following recent press and media coverage we are delighted to confirm that our new Gainsborough school and skills hub will be opening later this year.
After many months of careful negotiation, we are able to confirm recent press releases from our education partners at the Gainsborough College (and the Lincoln College Group) that from September (2022) Castles Education will take day to day ownership of the current Gainsborough College Campus and vocational centre from where our wider school provision will now be led.
Our new Gainsborough school will amalgamate many of our existing education services in one primary location, supported separately by some of our existing school network and outreach services.
We have already been pre-approved by Ofsted to accept a significant increase in new learner places which will support children and young people from the local and surrounding areas who we will be able to access our services and wider curriculum very soon.
Our curriculum will now include on site vocational training and experience for our existing Keystage 3 and Keystage 4 students as well as new post sixteen courses for young learners with educational learning needs.
